What it is: a workshop-style class designed to deepen your understanding of the foundations of vinyasa yoga. Students will explore ujjayi breathing and the connection of breath to movement while gaining a high-level overview of the 8 limbs of yoga. Throughout class, students will also be introduced to the three main bandhas used in vinyasa, and will learn proper alignment through a breakdown of the common postures in Sun A and Sun B. Class will conclude with an opportunity to ask questions as well integrate all learnings into a short vinyasa flow.

What it is: Join us for our second Strength 101, where we will break down foundational movement patterns to help you feel powerful and safe in any workout. Class will start with a non-weighted warm up, will continue with demonstration + terminology and a chance to try the exercises with weight, and will end with a short workout with these exercises included. Students will specifically focus on Squats, Swings, and Snatches.

What it is: Jivamukti Spiritual Warrior is a fast-paced, invigorating, well rounded, fixed set sequence, instructed in a vinyasa style that allows each student to dive deeper into their practice. It includes intention setting, asana warm-up, sun salutations, standing poses, backbends, forward bends, twists, inversions, chanting, meditation and relaxation. The teacher focuses on keeping the pace moving and offers hands on support throughout. Some previous yoga experience is recommended but not required.
